1. Introduction of Pizza Plus:
“Pizza Plus” is established to provide Quality Pizzas, Burgers,
Chicken Wings, Salads and Fresh Juices of International
standards to those who seek quality products at reasonable
prices.
Target Market:
The primary target market of Pizza Plus comprises of schools,
colleges and offices in Islamabad. The secondary target
market consists of customers with diet conscious lifestyle.
Short Term Goals:
- To develop first online ordering portal
- To develop “Pizza on Wheels Concept” in reality
- To make pizza reachable to the masses
Long Term Goals:
- To be the leader of local fast food franchise concept in the region
- To provide employment opportunities for youth especially the less educated lot
2. Profile of the Entrepreneur:
Name: Amina Ansir
Age: 31 yrs
Gender: Female
Amina Ansir was born and raised in an entrepreneurial
family. Her mother played a key role in inculcating
entrepreneurial spirit in her early part of childhood. Her
mother was running a successful nursing home. Mrs.
Amina Ansir was raised by her aunt who ran a very
successful medical practice in her hometown.
She went to a traditional college environment and had a
vision to do something on her own. She has done B.Sc
from Punjab University. After marriage most of her friends
opted for employment. But, due to her spouse’s work and
lifestyle she decided to take the first step on her own. One
of her family relatives Rose Mary Saeed visited her from
U.S.A.. She shared her vision to create a venture at the
grass root level by employing semi-skilled and skilled
workforce. Mrs. Rose Mary gave her an idea of starting a
food venture of Pizza Plus.
3. When it Took Off:
Pizza Plus is a one and a half year old venture. It was
started in April 2006.
4. Sales/Turnover:
We have a client base of more than 2000 very loyal and
satisfied customers in the local community. It has also
attracted more than 250 corporate customers. The major
corporate customers of Pizza Plus are local schools and
colleges. The customer base is growing at the rate of 25%
per quarter.
5. Future Prospects:
This venture was established to reach the audience at
their household .i.e. a takeaway concept. The natural
extension of our business is to establish a mobile
takeaway business. We are starting “Pizza on Wheels”. It
will initially operate to have pizza parties at schools,
colleges, corporate and family get togethers.
The existing set up of Pizza Plus is the Test Kitchen to
solidify the recipe and establish the business process.
The goal is to master the business model and then
replicate the concept at national level.
6. Current Status:
We have considerable customer base of 2000 regular
customers currently at Pizza Plus. Pizza Plus has gained
the confidence of many in a very little time.
