ADNAN KUNDI - EMMACULATE
“I
learned that one better not be just a part of the system
like a cog in a wheel and be shaped by the system; but
rather have the capability to shape the system. To do this
is as tough as it sounds; however I found early that the
best way to do it is entrepreneurship.” Adnan Kundi
A
graduate of IBA, Kundi joined Shell Pakistan Ltd and
sharpened his managerial and analytical skills while
serving in the Planning and Sales department of the
company. To further his analytical skills he joined ABN
Amro Equities as the Energy sector specialist. With
practical work exposure in hand, together with the clarity
gained from extensive reading on upcoming trends in
strategic management and the expected impact of an
impending technology paradigm shift, Kundi was convinced
that Information Technology had to be coupled with his
enterprising spirit. ‘Emmaculate’ vowed to make a
difference through immaculate IT solutions, but on this
road of commitment, inevitably, obstacles were
encountered. Securing accounts was a challenge with the
‘risk’ of dealing with young people, also, the team had to
forego their low monthly salaries to avoid a business
shutdown. Still, Emmaculate persevered and focused on
delivering quality. In the same year Kundi was able to
secure a few MNC assignments, which went far in
establishing their credentials. These clients were able to
perceive their potential and appreciated the innovative
and convenient off shore development methodologies.
Emmaculate has managed to penetrate and corner both the
pharmaceutical and banking sectors through development and
consultancy services. Emmaculate has also been chosen as
the exclusive representative for one of the world’s top
core banking vendor, i-Flex.
Emmaculate’s clientele base includes, Uni Lever, Procter &
Gamble, Shell, Caltex, British Petroleum, Merck, MSD, J&J,
Bayer, Aventis, NRL, PRL, Engro Chemicals and many others.
Emmaculate is moving towards a rational expansion plan by
creating fruitful synergies to amplify the work strength
and penetrating the European market. Down the lane, in the
coming years, Emmaculate aims towards developing
subsidiary products under the umbrella of its brand.
